Writing a resume can be a daunting task but armed with 10 powerful resume keywords will help you take your resume from average to amazing. Every professional resume writer has a list of all-time favorite words. Generally these words spell ‘success’ and when used correctly, not only capture the reader but also shares a story. Recently speaking with a client, I was asked why I selected specific words, and my answer was simply, because I want your character to be known.
Words like ‘dynamic’ allow people to think of people who characteristically are self-motivated, ready for action, and full of life. ‘Customer-focused’ may lead people to think of someone who is considerate, thoughtful, and experienced with front-end business leadership rather than non-customer, facing like IT administration.
